Meet the Founder
My name is LaDonnia Cole, founder of Tru Harmony Network. I was born on the South Side of Chicago, the youngest of two girls. My parents were high school sweethearts and married in their early twenties. The place we knew as home was a housing project called Stateway Gardens. Growing up in the “Projects” is where I learned some of life’s most valuable lessons, such as having morals, values, and the importance of family.
I have been serving as a Correctional Professional for over a decade, Four of which have been in a supervisory capacity where I have had the privilege to serve as a role model and promote positive change. In addition, I have analytical, public relations, communication, and conflict resolution skills. I am currently working to advance my entrepreneur opportunities and to become a successful author as well as growing my community outreach program, Tru Harmony Network LLC.
Tru Harmony Network was created to provide assistance and resources to individuals reentering society, and young moms in need who reside in at risk communities. It is my goal to have a positive impact on the many people I encounter on a consistent basis and offer guidance to those in need through my mentorship program.
