Meet the Founder
My name is LaDonnia Cole, founder of Tru Harmony Network LLC. I was born on the South Side of Chicago, the youngest of two girls. My parents were high school sweethearts and married in their early twenties. The place we knew as home was a housing project called Stateway Gardens. Growing up in the “Projects” is where I learned some of life’s most valuable lessons, such as having morals, values, and the importance of family.
I have been serving as a Correctional Professional for over a decade, four of which have been in a supervisory capacity where I have had the privilege to serve as a role model, mentor, and a life-skills coach to promote positive change. In addition, I have analytical, public relations, communication, and conflict resolution skills. I am currently working on business collaboration opportunities, serving my community, and continued success as an author while growing my community outreach program, Tru Harmony Network LLC.
Tru Harmony Network LLC was created to provide assistance and resources to individuals reentering society, and young moms in need who reside in at risk communities. It is my goal to have a positive impact on the many people I encounter on a consistent basis and offer guidance to those in need through my mentorship, coaching/ consultant program. "Growing Beyond the Gardens, My Story of Triumph over Tragedy" is a memoir that describes what life was like growing up in the housing projects on the South Side of Chicago with Crime, drugs and teen pregnancy being just a few highlights the author dive into as she takes you on a trip down memory lane then give detail accounts on how she was able to make it out of a socioeconomic system that statistics stated was highly improbable.
